I am an experienced integrative counsellor specialising on relationships, anxiety, trauma, depression and self-confidence. My approach is informed by recent research in neuroscience and combines somatic work with talking therapy. This approach is very effective in facilitating the release of trapped pain, rewiring the nervous system, and introducing new behaviour and thought patterns.
About me and my practice
Life is a challenging journey and we are not meant to make it alone. Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with unwanted thoughts, or finding things too tough to cope with? If so, please reach out now and get in touch with me.
I use a variety of techniques and approaches that enhance interaction between the mind and the body and facilitate both release of emotional discomfort and ingraining of more helpful responses.
My approach is informed by the recent research in neuroscience that reveals how emotions are processed by the brain and integrated in our nervous system. The holistic approach combining talking therapy and mind-body work is very effective and allows achieving a tangible shift within a shorter space of time.
The neuroplasticity of our brain means that it can be rewired so that we can develop new patterns of thinking and responding to challenges. Over the years of working as a therapist I found that the mind-body approaches are particularly very effective in helping with trauma, anxiety or other intense difficult emotional states.
Therapeutic relationship based on trust and a committed collaborative effort is the key to successful therapy work. My approach is highly individually tailored and unique to each person I work with. I see people in person as well as online.

Experience
I have been working as a somatic therapist and counsellor for nearly 15 years. During this time, I have helped many people overcome their challenges, heal from trauma and find new joy and fulfilment in life.
I have always been fascinated by the human mind: how it works, how we form ideas and how these ideas shape us in return. Studying for research degrees at Cambridge has honed my analytical skills, while my work, along with mindfulness and meditation practices, has enhanced my intuition.
Over the years of practising as a therapist, I have developed my own unique set of skills and approaches, which I constantly improve and refine through continuous self-education and regular supervision.
I trust in peoples inner strength and help them access their hidden resources, release the remnants of past traumas and find new meanings that are unique to them. In my approach, I am influenced by the ideas of Buddhism, Existentialism and recent research in neuroscience that reveals how emotions are processed by the brain and integrated in our nervous system.
I believe that openness to exploration and change, as well as a trusting and cooperative relationship between a therapist and a client, are the key elements that ensure successful therapeutic work. Usually, a couple of sessions are enough to get a sense of the potential of our work together.
